The method

Each group training session will include an array of safe, efficient and varied free weight exercises, focusing on strength work. Each participant will be carefully watched throughout the session, and should any adaptations be needed, alternative variations will be given. The idea behind these group classes isn't to encourage users to pick up the heaviest weight that they can lift, but to teach and encourage participants in performing real strength training correctly. This, in-turn, will promote sustainable strength improvements whilst avoiding injuries. Each and every participant is encouraged to work at their own pace.

THE strength element

 

Kettlebell

 Each group training session will include an array of cardiovascular exercises. Typically, these are performed using rowers, ski-ergs, air-bikes, treadmills and other conditioning equipment. Much like the strength element, here, the goal isn't to reach the highest heart rate that one can achieve. Instead, targets such as pace times, distances and various other achievable and measurable targets will be used. Each and every participant is encouraged to work at their own pace.

Due to the nature and style of these group sessions, although every effort will be made to tailor exercises, participants with little or no experience in exercise are strongly advised to seek advice from Joel prior to booking.
